Community Outreach

Hillsdale College Mission Statement:

Hillsdale College was founded in 1844 with a purpose to "develop the minds and improve the hearts of its students," a reference to the moral and intellectual virtues. The driving purpose of athletics at Hillsdale College is to cultivate these virtues. Their practice, on the field of competition, inspires and elevates the minds and characters of those who compete and those who watch.

The staff, faculty, and coaches at Hillsdale College seek to develop student-athletes both on and off the field as men and women of character. It is our belief that service to others is an essential part of this development. Hillsdale College Charger student-athletes serve in our community as an extension of their learning in the classroom and on the field of competition.
