2022: Redshirted...named the Chargers' Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 5...will have four years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2023.

High School: Big defensive tackle prospect from small-school Michigan powerhouse Montague...starting defensive tackle on Montague's 2020 MHSAA Division 6 state championship team, making four tackles in the Wildcats' 40-14 win over Clinton in the state title game...also helped Montague win a regional title as a sophomore starter in 2019, and a district title as a senior in 2021...two-time All-State defensive lineman finished his career with 198 totakl tackles, 11.5 sacks and nine QB hurries...multi-sport athlete also played basketball and baseball for Montague, as well as powerlifting...strong student earned Academic All-State honors in football, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Montague...active volunteer helping to coach youth football camps in the summer...parents are Matthew and Nicole McDonald.
