2024: Earned a starting role at safety and was one of the top players defensively for the Chargers, finishing third on the team in tackles with 49...finished with a career high nine tackles, one for loss on the road at Michigan Tech (Sept. 13)...recorded his first career interception and two pass breakups at Findlay (Sept. 28), and added eight tackles, 1.5 for loss, against Walsh (Oct. 12)...earned the team's Every Player, Every Play award in the upset victory over Tiffin on Nov. 9, and the team's Big Stick award against Ashland (Sept. 21)...named to the One Play Warrior Club at Hillsdale for his performance on special teams.
2023: Returned from an early injury to play in the team’s final seven games, contributing both in the secondary and on special teams…recorded a career-high six tackles and a pass breakup in Hillsdale’s Sept. 30 win over Northwood, and also earned the team’s Special Teams Player of the Week honor for that contest…earned the One Play Warrior award for his work on special teams throughout the season.
2022:Â Developed into an important contributor on special teams for the Chargers, appearing in eight games and earning a spot in the One Play Warrior Club for 2022...will battle for a bigger role in 2023.
2021:Â Redshirted in 2021...earned Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 11...will have four seasons of eligibility beginning in 2022.
High School: Three-year varsity player for a Pinckney (MI) squad that made the MHSAA Division 3 state playoffs back-to-back seasons, finishing with a combined 11-6 record...finished his high school career with 175 tackles, nine interceptions, and 16 pass breakups, as well as three multi-interception games, earning 2020 All-Livingston County Defensive Player of the Year honors, as well as All-State and All-Region recognition...also played baseball for the Pirates, earning All-District and All-SEC honors...active in community service, going on a mission trip to Uganda in high school, as well as assisting the Salvation Army's annual Christmas fundraiser...parents are John and Erin Trachet.
