Biography

2024-25: Consistent part of Hillsdale's lineup, playing in nine of the Chargers' 10 events...tied his career-best 54-hole score with a 217 to tie for 24th and lead the Chargers at the Findlay Spring Invite (March 24-25)...had his best finish at the Malone-Glenmoor Invite (Sept. 9-10), placing 21st and helping Hillsdale finish third as a team...shot a season best 18-hole score of 69 in round two of the Nemacolin Intercollegiate (Oct. 21-22)...finished the season ranked 98th among players in the Midwest Region.

2023-24: Mainstay in Hillsdale's lineup, playing in eight of Hillsdale's nine events on the season...posted a career-best 54-hole score of 217 to finish tied for 15th at the Kyle Ryman Memorial Invite (Oct. 2-3)...six rounds of par or beter, including tying his collegiate best round with a 68 in the final round of he Saint Leo Invite (Feb. 20)...also shot a 3-under 69 in the second round of the Doc Spragg Invite (Oct. 16) and a round of 70 in both the Hargett Memorial Invitational (March 18) and the Findlay Spring Invite (March 26).

2022-23: Regular part of Hillsdale's lineup as a freshman, appearing in 10 of the Chargers' 11 events...Posted a best finish of 17th at the Lenoir-Rhyne Fall Invite (Oct. 23-25), shooting a 223, and had his best 54-hole performance at the Findlay Spring Invite (March 27-28), shooting a 220 to finish tied for 22nd...also had his best scoring round at the Findlay Spring Invite, shooting a four-under 68.

High School: Standout golfer for Bellarmine Prep in Washington...won the South Puget Sound League 4A individual title in 2021, while also leading Bellarmine Prep to four consecutive SPSL team titles in high school...took the 2021 WJGA District 3 championship, as well as the 2020 RMJGT Saint Patrick's Day Open title, and finished tied for 17th in the Washington State Amateur this year, along with multiple other top finishes in WJGA Open events...strong student who was on Bellarmine's State Team for the We The People AP Government competition...active volunteer with the Nativity House, helping organize a food drive for the organization at Bellarmine Prep in 2020...parents are Martin and Jody Burns.
