Dan Hudson joined the Hillsdale College Sports Medicine and Performance staff in July of 2017 in the role of Assistant Athletic Trainer, and in the summer of 2021 was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer at Hillsdale College. He currently works as the primary trainer with the football and women's swimming and diving programs at Hillsdale College.

Early in his tenure, Hudson helped introduce an injury prevention program to the baseball team which showed tremendous results. Hudson successfully completed the Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) program through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and since 2019 he has played a larger role in injury prevention and performance programs for all of the college's athletic teams. He also plays a central part in the department's injury rehabilitation and return to play programs. 

Hudson is a graduate of Adrian College with a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2016 and a master's degree in athletic training in 2017. While attending Adrian, Dan worked with a variety of sports including; ice hockey, football, track & field, baseball, softball, wrestling, basketball, and women's lacrosse. 

Dan lives in Homer with his wife Bethany and enjoys hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
