Biography

2025: Stepped into a full-time starting role for the first time at third base and excelled, starting all 57 games for the Chargers…batted .277 and tied for second on the team with 11 doubles, while also finishing second on the team with 35 RBIs…had 10 multi-hit games…hit the go-ahead three-run home run in Hillsdale’s G-MAC Tournament win over Findlay on May 1, helping the Chargers advance and eventually claim the G-MAC crown, while earning All-Tournament team honors in the process...184 at-bats during the 2025 season is the second most for a Hillsdale player in program history…named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District team and earned NFCA  All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for her success in the classroom as well as on the field.

2024: Returned late in the season after recovering from her 2023 injury, getting plate appearances in five games in the final three weeks of the season...now fully healthy, should be a big piece in the team's plans for the 2025 campaign.

2023: Had an impressive freshman season at the plate that was cut short by injury, appearing in 36 games with 17 starts and hitting .323 with six doubles, three home runs and 21 RBIs...went on a tear in 17 G-MAC contests, hitting .444 with a team-best 15 RBIs in conference games...hit a home run for her first collegiate hit against Quincy (March 5)...went 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs in a March 11 shutout of Queens (NY)...went 5 for 6 with two doubles, a home run and seven RBIs in Hillsdale's sweep of Ursuline (April 23)...added a two-run home run in a victory over Lake Erie on April 24.

High School: Versatile prospect from a Stevensville Lakeshore program that has been a dominant power in Michigan high school softball, with eight state titles and two runner-up finishes in the last 30 years...helped lead the Lancers to the 2022 MHSAA D2 state title as a senior, hitting a RBI double in Lakeshore's 6-2 win over Trenton in the final and making MLive's list of top 10 performers at the softball state finals...finished her senior season hitting .394 with 11 doubles, six home runs and 35 RBIs...helped Lakeshore win a a district title in 2021 while going 9-0 as a pitcher and gitting .452 with a team-best 56 hits and four home runs...was a freshman starter on Lakeshore's 2019 MHSAA D2 state runner-up team as well...played travel softball with the Kalamazoo Maroons and Lakeshore Pirates...excellent student who won the MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award, earned membership in the National Honor Society, finished top 10 in her graduating class and was Lakeshore's November student of the month this past school year...active volunteer with the LECO Picnic, Lakeshore Youth Softball Camp and Red Cross Blood Drives...parents are former Charger football player John Chellman and Summer Chellman.
