2022: Battled through injuries in her first collegiate season to make important contributions as a relief pitcher...appeared in 14 games with a 1-2 record, a 4.69 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 31.1 innings pitched...recorded a save in her first career appearance, a 5-3 win over Texas A&M-International (Feb. 12)...struck out a career high eight batters in a five inning relief appearance against Minnesota-Moorhead...recorded her first career win in relief on April 11 against Malone, striking out three batters and giving up two earned runs in four innings...should continue to grow into her role with better health in 2023.

High School: Starting pitcher since her freshman year for a Palm Beach Gardens team that's one of the best in the state in Florida's largest classification...helped lead her team to three consecutive FHSAA regional appearances at the 9A and 7A levels, including back-to-back regional semifinal berths where they were knocked out by a team who eventually played in the state final...earned first team All-County from the Sun Sentinel and Palm Beach Post, as well as first-team All-State honors as a sophomore after posting 167 strikeouts, and was named the Land Rover ESPN Palm Beach Player of the Year, All-Florida High School All-Star Team MVP and second-team All-State after posting a 2.33 ERA, 116 strikeouts and a 13-5 record her senior year...played travel softball with Lady Gators Jackson -- South...graduated in the top five percent of her class and made the honor roll every year...extensive volunteer at the ABCDE Animal Clinic throughout high school...parents are Larry and Robin Deaton.
