2023: The second half of a dominant 1-2 pitching rotation for Hillsdale and a key contributor to the Chargers setting a G-MAC record with a 1.71 staff ERA in 2023...earned second-team All-G-MAC for the second-straight season with a 13-7 record that included a stellar 1.95 ERA...pitched five shutouts on the season, tied for the eighth most in a single-season in program history, including Hillsdale's first no-hitter in over a decade in a 4-0 victory over Queens (NY)...was the pitcher of record for Hillsdale in critical conference victories over Trevecca Nazarene (April 14) and Northwood (April 19)...had an excellent start in the G-MAC Tournament against Trevecca Nazarene (May 4), going five innings with six strikeouts, no walks and just one unearned run conceded in a 2-1 victory on the way to the G-MAC Tourney title...named to the 2023 CSC Academic All-District team for her academic achievements...enters her senior season ranked in the top 10 all-time in both wins and shutouts.
2022: The second half of Hillsdale's impressive one-two punch on the mound who developed into one of the G-MAC's top pitchers in her own right in 2022, earning second-team All-G-MAC honors...posted a 12-2 record, including a perfect 7-0 mark in G-MAC play, and finished fourth in the conference in ERA with 2.11 while also recording 84 strikeouts to 38 walks...named G-MAC Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb. 28 - March 7, after pitching Hillsdale to a 5-1 win over Quincy...recorded two shutouts, and was dominant in a 2-1, extra-inning win over Ohio Dominican on Apr. 29 that kept Hillsdale's G-MAC title hopes alive...posted a career-high 14 strikeouts in a 4-3 win over New Haven, going all eight innings to earn the victory and conceding just two earned runs.
2021: Sleeper recruit impressed in her first action on the mound as a freshman in 2021, appearing in 18 games and finishing second on the team with a 3.53 ERA in 45.2 innings...went 3-3 in five starts with a save and 29 strikeouts...picked up her first career win in a 4-3 thriller at Augusta on March 14, striking out three and giving up two earned runs in 6.2 innings...came in for a two-out save in a 6-5 road win over Trevecca Nazarene on April 17 that gave the Chargers the G-MAC lead at the time...pitched her first complete game in a 6-4 win over Flagler on March 17, with five strikeouts.
High School: Was a four-sport star at Delton Kellogg High School (MI), earning first team All-Conference honors in volleyball, basketball and track and field as well as excelling on the softball diamond…Led the Panthers to back-to-back district titles in 2018 and 2019 in softball and earned first-team All-Conference, All-Region and All-Barry County honors in the process…was 29-14 as a pitcher in high school with a 1.92 ERA and 342 strikeouts, and hit .402 for her career with 79 RBI and three home runs…played travel softball with the West Michigan Venom and Caledonia Chaos…was class valedictorian, a member of the National Honor Society and Academic All-State in both volleyball and basketball…born Feb. 26, 2002…parents are Joel and Misty Kapteyn.
