Biography

2022: Won the starting job at first base early in the season and became one of the team's most reliable offensive players, hitting .287 and tying for the team lead in home runs (4) while finishing second in RBIs (35) in 48 appearances...had one of the best days of her career on March 17 in Florida, going 7 for 8 at the plate with a double and two RBIs in narrow victories over Wayne St. (6-3) and Caldwell (6-5)...hit a clutch single to drive in the winning run in extra innings in a critical 2-1 victory over Ohio Dominican (Apr.29) that put the Chargers in position to secure their first regular season conference title in over 30 years...drew a two-out walk help start a four-run rally in Hillsdale's title-clinching 5-4 victory over Findlay (Apr. 30)...lone senior on the squad and key leader for the team in the upcoming 2023 season.

2021: Utility player for the Chargers who appeared in 26 games with 13 starts, making an impact as a designated player and pinch runner...hit a triple in Hillsdale's loss to Saginaw Valley State in the Lewis Dome Invite (Feb. 21)...went 2 for 5 with a RBI in the Chargers' 12-4 victory at Erskine (March 15)...finished the year with a perfect fielding percentage and 17 put-outs.

2020: Broke into the lineup as a freshman in the first weekend of the season, and played a big role during the Covid-19-shortened season, appearing in 16 games and starting 10…hit her first career home run in a 10-5 loss to Southern Indiana (March 10)…batted .200 for the season with four RBIs…retains her freshman status due to the NCAA ruling on spring sports athletes affected by Covid-19 and has four years of eligibility remaining, starting in 2021.

High School: Three-year starter and four-year letterwinner for an Anchor Bay (MI) high school team that won three straight MHSAA Division I district titles from 2016-2018...Earned All-District and All-County honors as both a junior and a senior, hitting .409 with 33 doubles, seven triples and a home run as a senior, and finishing with a perfect fielding percentage defensively...played travel softball with the Michigan Batbusters, Finesse 16U and Turnin' 2...graduated in the top 10 in her class of 488, and won the Dean A. Naldrett Award given to one male and female Anchor Bay student who excells in athletics, academics, citizenship and sportsmanship...earned Academic All-State honors in softball and was a member of the National Honor Society...Born May 15, 2001...parents are Vincent and Tracey Cantalupo.
