Biography

2021: Reached her full potential with one of the best offensive seasons in Charger history in 2021, finishing with the fifth best batting average (.467) and sixth best slugging percentage (.693) in a single season in program history...hit for both average (70 hits, fourth-most in Hillsdale history) and power (eight home runs, fifth-most in Hillsdale history), driving in 46 runs, the third-most in Hillsdale history...had a stretch from March 17 to April 17 where she had multiple hits in 11 of 13 games, including going 4 for 5 with a home run, a double and six RBIs in a 16-9 win over Tiffin on April 3...had an extremely strong postseason to help the Chargers to their deepest-even NCAA Tournament run, finishing with a hit in 7 of 8 G-MAC and NCAA tournament games, with five multi-hit games...named G-MAC Player of the Week for the first time in her career on April 7...earned second team All-G-MAC honors and second team All-Midwest Region honors from both the NFCA and D2CCA...returns for a fifth year in 2022 thanks to the Covid-19 waiver.

2020: Hillsdale’s starting catcher and a force at the plate for the Chargers during the Covid-19-shortened season, appeared in 16 games with 15 starts…batted .340 in 50 plate appearances, driving in four runs…was the only Charger to go 4 for 4 in a game in 2020, doing it twice in victories over Post (March 8) and Pitt-Johnstown (March 12)…posted a perfect fielding percentage defensively for Hillsdale, with 51 putouts, six assists and zero errors…retains her junior status due to the NCAA ruling on spring sports athletes affected by Covid-19 and has two years of eligibility remaining, starting in 2021.

2019: Enjoyed her best season, securing the starting catcher role while delivering one clutch hit after another throughout the season…Started 38 of the 43 games she appeared in, batting a career-best .298 with 27 RBI…Had 13 hits in a nine-game stretch from March 24-April 5…Drove in two runs in the Chargers’ G-MAC Tournament-clinching win over Cedarville May 5…Belted a home run in a big win at Trevecca Nazarene April 1.

2018: Stepped in as a catcher in her freshman season, playing in 23 games, starting 20…Hit her first collegiate home run in a win at Trevecca Nazarene March 24…Went 3-for-4 in her second collegiate game, a win over Nyack on March 6…Drove in two runs during the team’s G-MAC Tournament first round win over Trevecca Nazarene May 3.

High School: Led Hempfield High School to the AAAA Pennsylvania state championship in 2017, going undefeated (27-0)...Named First-Team All-Section as a catcher while batting .420 with a team-high 34 hits...Set school record for doubles in a career...The 2016 Westmoreland Sports Network co-Player of the Year...Team went 25-2 in 2016...Also won three varsity letters in field hockey...Played travel softball for Static Elite...Member of the French National Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society...Volunteered at the soup kitchen at the New Beginning Evangelical Church and has volunteered as a youth softball coach...Born January 7, 1999...Parents are Jay and Anita.
