2023: Team leader, top catcher and key offensive player who earned second-team All-G-MAC honors for her play in 2023, as well as G-MAC All-Tournament team recoginition...started all 56 games for the Chargers, hitting .313 with nine doubles and finishing second on the team in RBIs with 28, as well as five stolen bases...went on a tear in conference play, hitting .429 to help the Chargers finish second in the regular season...solid defensive catcher who finished 2023 with a .994 fielding percentage and only three passed balls, while throwing out 11 of 18 runners who tried to steal on her...went 2 for 3 with two doubles in a critical 3-1 win over Trevecca Nazarene (April 14)...went 2 for 3 and scored the game-tying run in Hillsdale's 2-1 win at eventual 2023 G-MAC regular season champion Ohio Dominican (April 26)...had a strong G-MAC Tournament, including four combined hits and four RBIs in the championship series with Findlay to help the Chargers clinch the title (May 6).
2022: Played a major role as the team's second-game catcher and designated hitter, appearing in 28 contests for the Chargers...hit .219 for the season with three doubles, two home runs and 15 RBIs, while recording 97 put outs...hit a home run in games against Minnesota-Moorhead (Feb. 26) and Lynn (March 12)...had her best game of the season in a 13-1 win over Tiffin on March 30, going 3 for 4 with two RBIs...will compete for the starting catcher job in 2023.
2021: Talented power hitter who should see her role grow in her second year as her confidence improves at the plate...hit .222 as a freshman but five of her 16 hits were extra-base hits, including two home runs...went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and her first career home run at Lake Erie on March 27...had a big game in the second contest of Hillsdale's critical road doubleheader at Trevecca on April 17, going 2 for 4 with a double and scoring a run in a 6-5 victory...hit Hillsdale's second-ever NCAA Tournament home run in a 4-2 loss to Trevecca Nazarene on May 19.
High School: Starred at South Elgin High School (IL), helping her team reach the regional finals in the IHSA 4A state tournament in two of her three varsity seasons…tied for second in Illinois high school history for most home runs in an inning (two) and tied for eighth for most RBIs in an inning (seven), set in the same game against crosstown rival Elgin in 2018…batter .419 with 36 hits and seven home runs as a junior, earning All-Conference honors as well as All-Area nods from local newspapers the Daily Herald, the Fox Valley and the Courier News…played travel softball with the Hurricanes, participating in a PGF National Qualifier in 2019…earned Academic All-Conference honors three straight seasons, as well as maintaining membership in the National Honor Society…born April 6, 2002…parents are Daniel and Holly Eichholz.
