Biography

2021: Had a breakout season in her first full year as a starter, becoming one of just two Chargers in 2021 to earn first team All-G-MAC and All-Midwest Region honors...leadoff hitter batted .346 with a OBP of .396, finishing third on the team with 63 hits and second with 14 doubles and 13 stolen bases...finished ninth all-time for a single season in Hillsdale history with 43 runs scored, and her 182 at-bats were a new single-season program record...went 2 for 4 and scored the winning run in Hillsdale's 1-0 NCAA tournament win over Ohio Dominican (May 21)...also went 3 for 3 with a triple and a RBI in Hillsdale's 6-5 road win over Trevecca Nazarene (April 17)...will return for a fifth season in 2022 thanks to the Covid-19 eligibility waiver and should be one of the top leadoff hitters in the G-MAC again.

2020: Appeared in 17 games for the Chargers, starting 13 in the Covid-19-shortened season…batted .256 in 39 plate appearances with two doubles and three RBIs, including multi-hit games against Parkside (Feb. 20) and Pitt-Johnstown (March 12)…finished the season with a perfect fielding percentage in the outfield, with 19 put-outs and two assists…retains her junior status due to the NCAA ruling on spring sports athletes affected by Covid-19 and has two years of eligibility remaining, starting in 2021.

2019: Played in 25 games, starting 14 in the outfield…Made the most of her opportunities, batting a robust .371, knocking out 13 hits in 35 at bats…Had 9 hits in a six-game stretch from March 10 and March 16...Will compete for a starting outfield spot in 2020.

2018: Played in 23 games, making 17 starts through the season…Had nine hits, including a pair of two-hit games…Went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two runs scored against Pitt-Johnstown on March 10.

High School: Had a monster senior season at Lake Shore High School, batting .427 with an OPS of 1.176...Offensive team MVP and was named All-District and All-Region while leading team to a district title...Had a slugging percentage of .700 and drove in 33 runs with 47 total hits in 2017...Second-Team All-Macomb County...Helped lead team to Big Cat Classic Tournament championship...Batted .300 or better in all four of her varsity seasons, improving in each of her first three seasons...Played travel softball for the 16U Michigan Batbusters Gold-Vitale...Named to the Macomb Daily All-Academic Team...Won the Michigan Council for Women in Technology Advanced Web Design Competition...Graduated in the top 10 in her class...Named All-Academic in both basketball and softball...Born March 10, 2000...Parents are Jeff and DeAnna.
