High School: Top prep swimmer for Lowell High School in Northwest Indiana, on the edges of Chicagoland...a backstroker and sprint freestyle, Kissel earned six All-Northwest Crossroads Conference titles and qualified twice for the IHSAA state finals...broke eight school records during her time at Lowell and holds the program records for the 50 and 200 freestyle, as well as the 100 backstroke...also excelled for Munster Swim Club outside of her high school season...excellent student, graduating with high honors this past spring and earning membership in her school's National Honor Society...active volunteer with Red Devil Peer Mentors, among other endeavors...parents are Eric and Danielle Faber.
