2024-25: Excelled as a freshman, shattering Hillsdale's 200 freestyle record by nearly two seconds and claiming the title in the event at the G-MAC/MEC Championship meet in 2025, and earning All-G-MAC honors in the process...also took sixth in the 200 individual medley (2:09.51), eighth in the 100 freestyle (52.67) and swam on four runner-up relays (200 freestyle, 400 freestyle, 800 freestyle and 200 medley relay)...ended the season ranked sixth in program history in the 50 freestyle, fourth in the 100 freestyle, and eighth in the 200 IM along with her school record in the 200 freestyle.

High School: Decorated high school swimmer from mid-Michigan, with five MHSAA All-State honors and six school records set in four years competing for St. Johns High School...was the MHSAA D3 state runner-up in the 200 and 500 freestyle in 2023, and in the 100 freestyle in 2022, while also taking third place in the 100 breaststroke in 2022...two-time Lansing State Journal Swimmer of the Year and the 2023-24 Female Heisman Award winner for the state of Michigan...two-sport athlete who set two St. Johns records in track and field, earned All-State honors in the discus and will also compete for the Chargers track and field team as a dual sport athlete..swam for the South Central Swimming Club...graduated in the top 10 in her class this past spring and earned Academic All-State honors in both swimming and diving and track and field, while also serving as a member of the National Honor Society...board officer for the Youth Action Club, Compassion Club and French Club at St. Johns, while also serving on the Michigan Swimming Athletes Committee and as an Athlete Representative on the Michigan Swimming Officials Committee...active volunteer as a youth swim coach, with the high school food pantry, and through her church...parents are Bill and Tisha Schafer.
