2024-25: Competed in four events at the 2025 G-MAC/MEC Championships, making the finals and placing 12th in the 200 breaststroke (2:35.34).

High School: Top performer in her home country of South Africa...took sixth in the 200 meter breaststroke at the 2023 South Africa Schools Swimming Championships, and also won the 100m backstroke title at the 2024 South Africa Level 3 Regional Age Group Championships, among many top finishes at swimming events throughout her time in high school...captain of her high school swim team and club swim team with the Shamu swim club...also a national-level competitor in the biathlon in South Africa...graduated in the top 10 in her class this spring and was the top in her class in Biology, Physical Sciences and Engineering, Graphics and Design...helped start a small business in her community that provided affordable food to underprivileged communities...older sister, Carmen, competed in track and field at Hillsdale from 2017 to 2021...parents are Theunis and Carike Botha.
