High School: Successful sprinter at John Glenn high school in eastern Ohio...earned All-State honors in the 400m dash for three consecutive years at the OHSAA D2 state finals, and was runner-up in the 400 at the OATCCC D2 state indoor championship as a senior...high school best times of 8.19 in the 60m dash, 12.49 in the 100m dash, 25.68 in the 200m dash, and 56.81 in the 400m dash.
