Chargers Place at Lieske Series #4 NSCA; Michigan State Skeet Shoot

The Hillsdale College Shotgun Team traveled to Bald Mountain Shooting Range on August 22 to compete in the Lieske Signature Series Stop #4 NSCA shoot. The event marked the end of the week of Fall training camp and the start of competition season. Each Charger shot both the Easy 80 and Elite 80 sporting clays course, battling the rain throughout the day. Over 270 competitors took part in this open match, one of the largest in Michigan.

Sophomore David Texas Ardis hit 72/80 to tie for the 3rd highest score of any competitor in Master class or the Junior concurrent. Senior Davis Hay's score of 70 was the top in AA Class. In A Class, senior Luke Johnson broke 69 of 80 to finish in 1st with sophomore Zach Hinze's 66 taking 3rd.
