2012: A starting defensive end, and 2013 will be his second season filling that role…Had 23 total tackles and ranked second on the team with five tackles for loss…Each of his 1.5 sacks covered six yards…Had four solo tackles against Wayne State Oct. 6…Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2011: Will compete for a starting spot at defensive end in 2012…Improved his speed and strength throughout last season…Played in seven games, recording three total tackles.

2010: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: One of the top in-the-trench players for the state runner-up Clare High School Pioneers in 2009…Led team to 13-1 record as a senior, coming off a 9-2 season in 2008…Team won back-to-back Jack Pine Conference titles…Named to the Mount Pleasant Morning Sun Dream Team as a senior…Was a First-Team All-Conference offensive tackle and defensive tackle…Earned four varsity letters in track, two in football and two as a member of the school’s skiing team…A member of the National Honor Society as well as the school’s marching band and concert band...
