2014: Fast-improving safety who will be one of the secondary’s most experienced players in 2015…Has a nose for the ball and is one of the team’s most consistently tough tacklers…Racked up 67 total tackles in 2014 and broke up 4 passes…Forced a fumble against Grand Valley State Oct. 4…Tallied a team-high 12 total tackles against Ashland Oct. 18…Named the Defensive Player of the Week Nov. 16…The first recipient of the Big Stick Award of the season, Sept. 7.

2013: Moved into his biggest role on the defense of his career before missing the last two games due to injury…Made huge impact in the team’s win over Ferris State Oct. 19 with a career-high 11 total tackles (8 solo)…Also forced a fumble in that game…Saw action in nine games.

2012: Redshirted as a true freshman…The team’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week Nov. 10.

High School: Played safety for the Red Wings at St. Johns High School…Named All-Conference in 2010 and 2011 as a defensive back, and was an all-conference selection at wide receiver…Team captain and MVP in 2011…Earned All-Academic honors in all four years of high school and was a member of the National Honor Society…Also played varsity hockey for three years…Born September 29, 1993…Parents are Keith and Shari.
