Biography

2021: Overcame injuries to start 30 games and help the Chargers make a big late season push in the G-MAC tournament...batted .266 with seven doubles and six home runs, adding eight stolen bases as well...finished with 10 multi-hit games for the Chargers...hit three-run home runs in Hillsdale's 10-7 win over Malone (March 27) and 7-6 win over Kentucky Wesleyan (April 17)...went 2 for 5 with a solo home run in Hillsdale's 9-7 G-MAC tournament win over Walsh (May 13)...transitioned from catcher to outfield midseason and improved as the year went on, finishing with a .952 fielding percentage...two-time Hillsdale College Home Run Derby champion whose power numbers have improved each season.

2020: Made a big impact in a part-time role during the Covid-19-shortened 2020 season, appearing in eight games for the Chargers and starting six...tied for the team lead in batting average (.444) and five of his eight hits went for extra bases, including three doubles, a triple and a home run...had three multi-hit games, including a home run in the season-ending doubleheader against Wisconsin Parkside (March 11)...posted a .973 fielding percentage at catcher, finishing with 36 put-outs and just one error...retains his sophomore status due to the NCAA ruling on spring sports athletes affected by Covid-19 and has three years of eligibility remaining starting in 2021.

2019: Reserve catcher who played in 14 games with 5 starts…Picked up first collegiate hit March 10 vs. Davenport…Had two doubles in the series against Findlay March 17-18.

High School: Starting catcher on a perennial state contender at St. Francis High School in Traverse City…Helped team to a 38-4 record in 2017 with an appearance in the state championship game…Team has won three straight conference titles…Named All-Region and All-District in 2017…Hit 3 home runs with a .330 batting average in 2017…Batted .375 in 2016 and .313 in 2015…Volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and was a Right to Life March participant.
