Biography

2023: Everyday centerfielder for the Chargers and one of only three players to start all 52 games for Hillsdale...hit .302 and finished second on the team in doubles with 14, second in walks drawn with 24, and second among lineup regulars with a .409 OBP...successfully stole all seven bases he attempted and posted an impressive .984 fielding percentage in the outfield, as one of the G-MAC's top defensive players...had a stellar season in-conference, hitting .333 with 12 of his doubles coming in 33 conference games, while also posting a perfect fielding percentage in G-MAC contests...had 16 multi-hit games, including going 4 for 5 with two doubles, a home run and two RBIs in a 12-8 win over Tiffin on Apr. 2, a performance that helped him win G-MAC North Division Player of the Week for March 27-April 3...hit the go-ahead home run in a 5-4 victory over eventual G-MAC champion Northwood on April 7...tied the game with a RBI single and scored the go-ahead run in the fifth inning of a 10-9 win over Walsh on April 24...also scored the walk-off run in a 7-6 G-MAC Tournament victory over Findlay on May 10.

2022: Continued to shine for the Chargers in centerfield as Hillsdale's best defensive player and a consistent bat in the lineup...hit .321 for the season in 47 starts, flashing improved power with eight doubles, four home runs and 27 RBIs...finished third on the team in stolen bases with eight...posted a .982 fielding percentage that was the best among Hillsdale's non-catcher regular starters, with 110 put outs...finished with 14 multi-hit games, the third-best mark on the team, and boasted Hillsdale's longest reached-base streak (13) and tied for the longest hitting streak (9) in the 2022 season...had his best game of the season in a 19-12 win over Lake Erie (Apr. 16), going 3 for 5 with a double and two RBIs...hit the go-ahead two run home run in the seventh inning to cap a 6-4 road upset of NCAA Tournament qualifier Wayne St. on April 26...impact player if healthy for the Chargers in 2023.

2021: Every-day starter in centerfield for the Chargers who had a breakout campaign in 2021, earning third-team All-G-MAC honors...batted .323 with seven extra-base hits and 24 RBIs, as well as eight stolen bases...one of the top defensive outfielders in the conference, finishing with 86 putouts and a .989 fielding percentage...went 4 for 5 with a double, a home run and three RBIs in Hillsdale's 9-5 win over Tiffin (April 25)...had two RBI hits and drove in three runs in Hillsdale's 7-6 upset of Kentucky Wesleyan (April 17)...had a 10-game hitting streak and 10 multi-hit games for the Chargers.

2020: Made an immediate impact in the outfield as a freshman during the Covid-19-shortened season, appearing in 10 games and starting seven of them...his .350 batting average was third on the team among players with 10 or more appearances, and he posted a .435 on-base percentage and a perfect fielding percentage, with 17 put-outs and one assist against zero errors...had his best game in a 10-inning 7-6 loss at Davenport (March 8), going 3 for 5 with a run scored and four put-outs...retains his freshman status due to the NCAA ruling on spring sports athletes affected by Covid-19 and has four years of eligibility remaining starting in 2021.

High School: Star three-sport athlete at Traverse City St. Francis, a small-school powerhouse in the state of Michigan in multiple sports...helped lead the Gladiators to a MHSAA Division 3 state semifinal berth in 2017, and made the All-Lake Michigan Conference team three straight years...finished his career with a .392 batting average and a .426 on base percentage, with 10 doubles, four triples and two home runs...was honorable mention All-State in both football and basketball for St. Francis as well...played travel baseball with A.
