2026: Returned from injury and had an excellent season, locking himself in as the Chargers' closer and recording six saves and a victory in 19 appearances...led the Chargers in saves (6) and ERA (2.49), and was tied for third in the G-MAC on the season with six saves...shut out opponents in 13 of his 19 appearances, pitching an inning or more in every case...recorded saves with shutout final innings on back-to-back days against Thomas More (March 14-15)...went three innings to pick up his lone win of the season with three strikeouts against Lake Erie (April 12)...two scoreless innings for the Chargers to save a 5-3 win on April 17 against regular-season co-champion Findlay...closed out Hillsdale's upset victory over Walsh in the G-MAC Tournament with a scoreless ninth inning in a 4-2 victory for a save...struck out three of the four batters he faced to earn a save against Malone (March 20)...six saves in a single season is tied for fourth all-time in Hillsdale College history, and he ranks eighth all-time at Hillsdale in career saves...excellent student who earned CSC Academic All-District honors for his work in the classroom in 2026...a major weapon for the Chargers out of the bullpen entering 2027.

2025: Redshirted while recovering from injury....will have three seasons of eligibility beginning in 2026.

2024: Made two appearances on the mound for Hillsdale as a freshman.

High School: Promising right-handed pitcher who excelled in Minnesota...a three-time All-Conference honoree at Andover who helped the Huskies to a third-place finish at the MSHSL 4A state championships in 2021 and another state tournament appearance in 2022...finished his high school career with a 19-4 record and 175 strikeouts in 145 innings pitched...standout in travel ball with the Minnesota Icemen...impressive student who earned a variety of honors at Andover, including membership in the National Honor Society...parents are James and Rebecca Novak.
