2023: Every-day second baseman for the Chargers with 44 starts...finished with five doubles, a triple and 25 RBIs in 153 at bats for Hillsdale, with a .235 batting average on the season...one of the Chargers' best defensive players on the infield, with 79 put outs and 72 assists on the season...had seven multi-hit games, including three hit contests against Wayne St. (March 30), Lake Erie (April 15) and Malone (May 7)...had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs in Hillsdale 13-4 upset of Davenport (Feb. 11)...should play an important role for Hillsdale in his third season as a starter in 2023.
2021: Emerged as Hillsdale's every-day second baseman and a strong bat at the plate in the 2021 season...finished second on the team with a .331 batting average and a .391 OBP, finishing with six doubles, three triples and 21 RBIs...one of the Chargers' better infielders defensively, finished the year with a .946 fielding percentage and 77 assists, the second-most on the team...had 12 multi-hit games on the season, as well as the second-longest streak of consecutive games with a hit (11) and the third-longest streak of consecutive games reaching base (13)....had five three hit games including a 3 for 4 performance in the Chargers' G-MAC tournament win over Ohio Dominican (May 12)...also drove in three runs on two hits in Hillsdale's 9-7 tourney win over Walsh (May 13).
2020: Appeared in 11 games for the Chargers during the Covid-19-shortened season, with seven starts...hit .208 for the Chargers with a double and four RBIs, and added two stolen bases...had his best game in the opener of the season-ending doubleheader with Wisconsin Parkside (March 11), going 2 for 3 with three RBIs in a Hillsdale victory...retains his freshman status due to the NCAA ruling on spring sports athletes affected by Covid-19 and has four years of eligibility remaining starting in 2021.
High School: Standout player for Rochester High School in Rochester Hills, Michigan...helped lead the Falcons to back-to-back district and regional championships in 2016 and 2017, and earned All-Oakland Activites Association honors in 2018...through three seasons in high school had 82 hits and 76.2 innings pitched...played travel baseball for the PK Prospects, D Las Vegas and the Warriors...was a three-time RCS Scholar Athlete and volunteered as a youth baseball coach, as well as helping with fundraisers for the Rochester Rainbow Connection and the Detroit PAL...born Sept. 19, 2000...parents are Chris Stepke, Bill Soule and Dena Soule.
