2026: Started 46 games as a freshman, making himself a mainstay in Hillsdale's lineup very early in his career...tied for first among Chargers with 13 doubles, and was second on the team with 30 walks drawn...13 multi-hit games, including going 3 for 3 with a double, a home run, five RBIs and three runs scored against Davenport (April 8)...2 for 4 with a double, a home run and three RBIs in just his second collegiate game against Montevallo (Feb. 1)...3 for 4 with two doubles in a win over Ohio Dominican on March 27...a big part of Hillsdale's offensive plans entering his second season in 2027.

High School: A standout player for Northville, a strong MHSAA Division 1 program in Metro Detroit, and the third-ranked first baseman in his class in the state of Michigan according to Perfect Game...played a role on Northville's state-title winning team in 2024 as a junior, and was one of the Mustangs' top players as Northville returned to the state quarterfinals in 2025...was named to the All-Area team by his local newspaper as a senior and earned All-KLAA and All-Region honors, hitting .336 and leading his team in hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, runs scored, OPS and slugging percentage...hit the game-winning home run in the ninth inning of an MHSAA District Final in 2025...standout travel ball player with ZT Elite Midwest Prospects...graduated Summa Cum Laude this spring, was an AP Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society while also winning the Presidential Academic Award...active volunteer locally with Miracle League and Hospitality House...parents are Christopher and Karen Coppens.
