Biography

2022: Appeared in 19 games for the Chargers as part of the team's starting catcher rotation, recording nine hits...had his best game in the season finale against Malone (May 7), going 2 for 4 with a walk off double in extra innings to secure a 6-5 victory...solid defensive catcher caught three runners stealing and recorded 125 putouts on the year.

2021: Did not play while recovering from an injury...aiming for a healthy return for the 2022 campaign.

2020: Made 11 appearances and seven starts at catcher for the Chargers during the Covid-19-shortened 2020 season...solid at the plate in limited opportunities, hitting .304 with a double and three RBIs in 23 at-bats...finished the season with 44 put-outs and five assists defensively...retains his sophomore status due to the NCAA ruling on spring sports athletes affected by Covid-19 and has three years of eligibility remaining starting in 2021.

2019: Backup catcher who figures to compete for that starting spot in 2020…Made seven starts behind the plate as a freshman, picking up three hits in 13 total appearances…Drove in his first two collegiate RBI in a win over Ohio Valley April 13.

High School: Batted .310 with a .989 fielding percentage in his junior season of 2017…Honorable mention all-conference in 2017…Plays travel baseball for Longshots Baseball…Academic All-Conference selection in both basketball and baseball…Member of the Spanish National Honor Society…Volunteer for the Challenger Baseball Program…Volunteered at St. Patrick’s Church Christmas Mass.
