2023: Breakout star for Hillsdale who started 48 games and put together one of the best offensive seasons by a Hillsdale player in recent memory...earned second-team All-Midwest Region honors from the ABCA and D2CCA, as well as honorable mention All-Region honors from the NCBWA and first-team All-G-MAC honors...led the Chargers in batting average (.388), hits (73), slugging percentage (.697), runs scored (46), doubles (15) and triples (2) while finishing second in home runs (13)...his hits mark, doubles, slugging percentage and home runs all finished in the top 10 all-time for a single season at Hillsdale...tied for the Hillsdale lead with 21 multi-hit games, including four games with four or more hits...also put up a Chargers-best 21 game hitting streak and ended the season on a 12 game hitting streak as well...went 4 for 6 with two solo home runs in an extra-inning win at Kentucky Wesleyan (March 26)...also had a two home run game against Lake Erie on April 18...put up huge numbers in Hillsdale's sweep of Tiffin, gong 9 for 17 with a double, a triple, a home run, five RBIs and five runs scored (April 2-3)...linchpin player for Hillsdale entering the 2024 season.

2022: Appeared in 10 games, with one start, for the Chargers in his first collegiate season...hit .250 in 12 at bats, including singles against Tiffin (April 2) and Cedarville (April 8 and 9).

High School: Strong offensive player and catcher prospect who helped Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice (MI) go 29-11 and make a third consecutive MHSAA Division 1 state semifinal appearance as a senior in 2021...led a loaded Warriors team in batting average (.372), doubles (14) and RBIs (44) in his final season...earned back-to-nack All-CHSL honors and also played basketball for Brother Rice...played travel baseball with the Oakland Bulldogs...member of the National Honor Society who graduated with honors from Brother Rice...parents are Patrick and Lori Shannon.
