2020-21: In his third season as the starter at Hillsdale's hybrid linebacker/safety STAR position, continued to shine for the Chargers...named a team captain before the season, and started all four games, finishing tied for second on the team in tackles with 32 and contributing two pass breakups...earned second-team All-G-MAC honors for the second straight season, and also made the Chargers' One-Play Warrior Club for spring 2021...was named Hillsdale College Defensive Player of the Week for his nine-tackle outing against Tiffin on April 3, and also led the team in tackles with 15 against Findlay on March 13...an excellent student, earned CoSIDA first-team Academic All-American honors for the 2020-21 season, one of just eight football players in program history to earn an Academic All-American honor.
2019: A starter and versatile player in the secondary for the Chargers, playing as a hybrid linebacker/safety…appeared in 10 games, finishing fifth on the team in tackles (60, 20 solo) and leading the Chargers in pass breakups (13)…had a career high 11 tackles against Ohio Dominican (Nov. 16)…named second-team all-Great Midwest Athletic Conference as a linebacker...earned Charger defensive player of the week honors for the week of Sept. 28, special teams player of the week (Nov. 16), the E.P.E.P award (Sept. 7), the Big Stick award (Sept. 21) and was named to the One Play Warrior Club.
2018: Emerged as one of the top players in the defensive secondary…Had 46 total tackles, hitting a season-high of 7 twice, at Ohio Dominican and at Malone…Had 4 interceptions on the season, including two in the huge win at ODU Sept. 15…Named winner of the E.P.E.P. Award on Oct. 29.
