Biography

2011: Entering his third season as a starting cornerback in 2012…Started all 11 games in 2011 and had six pass break-ups and 40 total tackles…Broke up three passes in triple-overtime win over Ashland Sept. 17…Had at least one solo tackle in every game…Intercepted a pass in Hillsdale’s win over Grand Valley State Sept. 10…Will be the secondary’s most experienced player in 2012.


2010: Moved into the starting lineup at cornerback, and turned in an excellent season…Started all 12 games, finishing with 30 solo tackles and 42 total tackles…Led Chargers with five pass break-ups…Had interceptions in two of the first three games of the season, versus Ferris State and at Ashland…Broke up two passes, including one in the end zone, in seven-point win at Northwood Oct. 30…Named the team’s defensive player of the week following the first game of the season…Also earned the E.P.E.P. award.

2009: Penciled in to start at cornerback in 2010…Played in one game in 2009, the home opener vs. Michigan Tech.

2008: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Highly productive wide receiver at Brunswick High School in Ohio…Caught 63 passes for 1,142 yards and 10 touchdowns in leading the Blue Devils to a 13-1 season in 2007…Named Ohio All-State as a senior, as well as All-District, All- Northwest Ohio Conference and the team’s most valuable defensive player…Youngest member of the 2008 Hillsdale College football freshman recruiting class...Born Aug. 10, 1990…Parents are James and Kathy...Is a Financial Management major.
