High School: Three year starter at Barbers Hill High School in the Houston suburbs in Texas, helping the Eagles win three straight Bi-District games in the UIL 5A Division 1 state playoffs...earned back-to-back All-District honors, conceding just three sacks in high school and none in his junior and senior years...strong student who was named 1st Team Academic All-State in Texas, and is a member of the National Honor Society...active volunteer through the Barbers Hill Peer Assistance and Leadership Program...parents are Todd and Kristy Francis.
