2016: Redshirted as a true freshman in 2016…Named the team’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week on Sept. 12.

High School: A three-year varsity starter on the defensive line for East Grand Rapids High School who made 32 consecutive varsity starts to help his team to District and Regional Championships in his senior year…Two of his three years as a starter he played both sides of the ball, starting both on the defensive line as well as starting as the center…As a team captain his senior year, he earned All-Conference, All-Grand Rapids Area, Second Team Associated Press All-State, and First Team Detroit Free Press All-State honors…Also played first base for the East Grand Rapids baseball team, helping his team to District and Regional Championships as well as the state quarterfinals in his junior season. He earned All-Conference, All-District, All-Region, and First team All-State honors…Academically he was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA…He was a member of the We the People constitutional debate team that won a State Championship and an 8^th place finish in Nationals…Born August 18, 1997…Parents are Mike and Cathy Oosse.
