High School: Standout receiver and defensive back for nearby Jonesville High School in southern Michigan...played a major role in three of the best seasons in over two decades, helping the Comets to three MHSAA Division 6 playoff berths, as well as a 2021 Big 8 Conference title and the program's first undefeated regular season since 1988...earned first-team All-State, All-Region and All-Conference honors as a senior, breaking three school records for receiving yards (780), receiving touchdowns (15) and yards per catch (23.87) in the process...three sport athlete also took fourth in the long jump and earned All-State honors at the MHSAA Division 3 track and field championships...strong student who earned Academic All-State honors in both football and basketball, was a member of the National Honor Society, and an MHSAA Scholar Athlete Award recipient, as well as class president of the Jonesville student council...active volunteer with Above the Influence, Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity and 4-H...parents are Jim and Bev Knapp.
