2013: Enters 2014 as a starting cornerback for the fourth consecutive season…Ranked second among all players in the Hillsdale secondary with 63 total tackles, and was first in the secondary with 42 solo stops…Led the team with 11 pass break-ups and 12 passes defended…Named honorable mention All-GLIAC…Broke up a season-best three passes against Michigan Tech Nov. 9, and had a season-high 10 total tackles that game…Broke up at least one pass in eight of the team’s 11 games…Had four or more total tackles in every game…Named to GLIAC All-Academic Team… Named the team’s Defensive Player of the Week each of the first two weeks of the season… Named one of the team’s One Play Warriors, which is emblematic of excellence on special teams… Winner of the team’s E.P.E.P. Award on Oct. 7… Winner of the Big Stick Award on Oct. 21.

2012: High-impact defensive back who started all 11 games in 2012…Led all players in the Charger secondary with 71 total tackles…The GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week following the team’s 38-20 win over Ohio Dominican Sept. 8, and after the season was named honorable mention All-GLIAC…Named the team’s Defensive Player of the Week in each of the first two weeks of the season…Not only started the season strong, but finished with a flourish, recording a total of 36 total tackles in his last four games…Season-high of 11 total tackles against Northwood…Picked up three tackles for loss…Recovered two fumbles against Grand Valley State Oct. 27…Intercepted two passes against Ohio Dominican…Earned the team’s Big Stick award following the season-opener at California (Pa.)…Earned the E.P.E.P Award after the team’s win over Ferris State Oct. 13 and was a One-Play Warrior…Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2011: One of two true freshmen to see playing time during the season, and will be an emerging player in the secondary for years to come…Played in nine games, finishing with 20 total tackles…Blocked a kick and had a seven-yard punt return in 13-7 win over Michigan Tech on Oct. 15…Had season-high four solo tackles in road victory over Lake Erie College Sept. 24…Finished with six total tackles in 14-10 win over Northwood Oct. 29.



High School:Three-year starting defensive back for Grand Rapids West Catholic, a program that emerged as a powerhouse in that part of the state over the last several years…His team never lost a conference game in his career, and compiled an overall record of 40-6 from 2007-10…Team was state champions in 2010, his senior season…Had 107 tackles and three interceptions, including one for a score, in 2010…Also caught 51 passes for 619 yards and four touchdowns on offense…Added 224 rushing yards to the Falcons’ attack…Team captain, team MVP, Dream Team and All-State selection as a senior…Named his conference’s rookie of the year in 2008…Carried an overall grade point average of above 3.9 during his career…Member of the peer ministry, National Honor Society, the mock trial organization and Students for Life…Born February 6, 1993…Parents are Dennis and Patrice.
