Biography

2018: Athletic and mentally tough player who seemed to be in the middle of some of the team’s best moments on defense in 2018…Named the G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 8…Had 10 tackles, a forced fumble and a highlight-reel interception in the Oct. 6 20-17 win at Findlay…Had 10 tackles in a game three times, in wins at Malone and Findlay and the playoff win at Kutztown Nov. 17…Intercepted four passes on the season, accumulating 103 return yards…Intercepted a pass in the team’s playoff win at Notre Dame College Nov. 24…Named the team’s defensive player of the week in back-to-back weeks, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8, as well as Nov. 19…Named the winner of the big stick award on Sept. 24.

2016: Another young, fast-improving player on the defense who had an excellent first season…Recorded 26 total tackles in his nine games played…Had a season-high six total tackles against Wayne State Oct. 1…Recovered a fumble in the homecoming win over Michigan Tech Sept. 24…Among the team leaders with five pass breakups during the season, and had two in the win at Northern Michigan Oct. 29.

2015: Did not see game action…Named the team’s defensive scout team player of the week Oct. 5.

High School: Made more than 100 tackles in his senior season for Walled Lake Central High School…All-conference and honorable mention all-county in 2014…Helped lead team to division and district championships…Picked off 9 passes while also generating 2 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery…Member of the student council…Born Nov. 7, 1996…Parents are Dean and Nicole.
