High School: Two-way player and key contributor on the offensive line for back-to-back MHSAA Division 2 state champion Orchard Lake St. Mary, a school in suburban Detroit and a member of the powerhouse Catholic High School League...earned All-CHSL and team Offensive Lineman of the Year honors as a senior captain, leading the Eaglets to a 51-14 victory in the state final over Dexter to repeat as champions...also an important defensive lineman for OLSM, wtih 10 career sacks and 50 tackles for loss on the defensive line...graduated with high honors from OLSM this spring and was a strong student for the Eaglets...active volunteer through Hilltop Church and the Canton Christian Fellowship...coached by former Charger football players George Poritt, Gregory Dixon and Chris Huff during his time at OLSM...parents are Greg Smith Sr. and Dawn Smith.
