Biography

2023: Made his first career collegiate appearance on Oct. 28 in Hillsdale’s win over Lake Erie, recording three tackles.

2022: Did not see game action.

2021: Redshirted in 2021..will have four seasons of eligibility beginning in 2022.

High School: Two-way player helped lead Houghton Lake (MI) to the 2019 Highland Conference title and back-to-back MHSAA Division 7 Playoff appearances...named the Highland Conference Defensive Player of the Year, the Bay City Times Dream Team and a consensus Honorable Mention All-State player his senior year, finishing with 96 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, four forced fumbles and an interception...was team captain and defensive MVP for three seasons and a four-year varsity letterwinner for the Bobcats...three-sport athlete also played four years of varsity golf and three years of varsity men's basketball at Houghton Lake...Salutatorian of his graduating class and the treasurer of his school's branch of the National Honor Society...member of the Rotary Interact Club and went on two service trips to El Salvador with the group, among other charitable endeavors...volunteer coach of youth football and basketball teams...parents are Eric and Kristen Hamp.
