2024: Made a triumphant return from injury, appearing in 10 games and playing a major role down the stretch defensively...recorded a career high six tackles in a road win over Lake Erie (Oct. 19) and matched that number two weeks later in a win over Thomas More (Nov. 2), earning Hillsdale Defensive Player of the Week honors against the Saints...received Hillsdale's Big Stick awards for significant plays in games against Findlay (Sept. 28) and Northwood (Oct. 5).

2023: Missed the 2023 season while recovering from injury…should be part of the linebacker rotation in 2024 with a healthy return to play.

2022: Saw action in 10 games as a special teams player and substitute safety, recording four total tackles...should have greater opportunity to fight for playing time in 2023.

2021:  Redshirted in 2021...earned Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 13...will have four seasons of eligibility beginning in 2022.

High School: Important two-way player for a Lansing Catholic (MI) team that won a MHSAA Division 5 state title in 2019 and reached the semifinals in 2020...broke out as a senior, earning Academic All-State, All-CAAC White and All-Region honors as a wide receiver and defensive back for the Cougars...finished his career with 24 receptions for 350 yards and five touchdowns offensively, and added six interceptions, 141 total tackles and 10 passes defensed...also served as his team's kicker his senior year, making both PATs he attempted...also earned all-state honors in track and field for the Cougars...graduated Cum Laude from Lansing Catholic and was a member of the National Honor Society...active volunteer at mobile food pantries in his community and traveled to Alabama in high school to help rebuild houses after a storm...older brother, Konnor, played wide receiver for the Chargers from 2017 to 2021...parents are Thomas and Michelle Maloney.
