2019: Appeared in four games for the Chargers, finishing with 14 rushing attempts and averaging 4.4 yards per carry...had a career best 46 yards and his first collegiate rushing touchdown on three carries against Kentucky Wesleyan (Oct. 26).

High School: A four-year varsity tri-athlete letterman from Lansing, Michigan… Umholtz was an impressive All-Conference and All-Area running back and an accomplished track runner and wrestler… He received an NAIA and JUCO scholarship for wrestling and was a regional competitor for track and field… Averaged over 125 yards paired with 1.5 touchdowns per game during his senior year… He was very involved in his community, serving as senior class president, a mentor in his local LINKS Program, and a competitor in the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, making the honor roll every year and Academic All-Conference eight times… He was even recognized as Student of the Month by Congressman Tim Walberg… Umholtz was very accomplished in his community, a grand champion in his local LEAP Youth Startup, and the Delta Township Young Person of The Year.
