2021: Bounced back from an injury-plagued spring with the best season of his career to date, making a significant impact in the secondary and as a return man...had multi-tackle outings in 11 of the Chargers' 12 contests, including season-high tackle performances with five total tackles each against Indianapolis (Sept. 11) and Walsh (Oct. 9)... recorded a career-high five pass breakups in Hillsdale's road loss at Michigan Tech (Sept. 4)...finished the season with 40 total tackles, the seventh-most on the team...was one of the G-MAC's top kick returners, averaging 23.9 yards per return and scoring Hillsdale's first kick return touchdown in nine seasons with an 89 yard scoring return against Lake Erie (Oct. 16)...named to the Chargers' One Play Warrior club for his performance on special teams...will battle for a full-time starting job at cornerback in 2022.
2020-21: Played in one game in the Chargers' spring 2021 campaign while battling injuries... expected to play a bigger role with a return to full health in the fall of 2021.
2019: Appeared in all 11 games for the Chargers as a special teams player and defensive substitute…returned four kicks for an average of 16.8 yards per return…had a career-high five solo tackles against Alderson Broaddus (Nov. 2)...named to the One Play Warrior Club for the 2019 season.
2018: Redshirted as a true freshman…Will have 4 years of eligibility starting in 2019……Named the team’s defensive scout team player of the week on Sept. 10.
High School: Recorded 34 tackles, two interceptions, and 10 pass breakups en route to earning third team All-State honors as a senior...Also had 122 touches for 1217 yards and seven touchdowns on offense during that same campaign...Amassed 48 tackles, six interceptions, and two fumble recoveries (one for a touchdown) as a junior in 2016...Played in the regional finals and made honorable mention All-State two times...Also named twice to both the first team All-North Coast League and All-Area team...Three year varsity letterman...Part of the district champion and regional finalist 4x400 meter relay in track...Earned 2nd Honors three times and an Academic Letter in the National Honors Society...Volunteered as a Vacation Bible School leader and as a Head Instructor for a youth football camp in the summer...Parents are Victor and Gwenn.
