High School: Star tailback and defensive back who put up huge numbers while leading Elyria Catholic to a Great Lakes Conference West championship and a regional semifinal berth in the OHSAA Division IV state playoffs as a senior...rushed for over 2,325 yards and 31 touchdowns as a senior, while also recording 150 tackles and three interceptions defensively...finished his high school career with 5,726 yards rushing, 71 total touchdowns, 372 total tackles and seven interceptions while twice being named first-team All-Ohio and the Great Lakes Region Offensive Player of the Year as a senior...earned All-Ohio honorable mention honors as a baseball pitcher...dean's list every semester at Elyria Catholic...parents are Michael and Candace Ellis.
