High School: Three year contributor to a powerhouse state of Indiana team at Zionsville and part of the team’s 6A state runner-up finish in 2021…two-time captain and an All-Region and All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference honoree as a senior, finishing his career with 181 total tackles, including 14 tackles for loss, three sacks and an interception…two-sport athlete and talented wrestler who was a three-year captain and a two-time All-State honoree for the Eagles, placing third in the state of Indiana at 182 pounds in 2023...won the 2024 IHSAA Mental Attitude Award at the 2024 wrestling state finals and was Academic All-State in both football and wrestling, graduating with honors this past spring…active volunteer in both youth wrestling and youth football in his community…parents are Richard and Cathleen Penola…older brother Scott played football for Hillsdale College from 2013 to 2017.
