2023: Redshirted...will have four seasons of eligibility entering the 2024 season.

High School: Three-year starter and standout player for a Notre Dame Cathedral Latin team that's based in northeast Ohio and has sent several players to Hillsdale College over the past decade...an All-Crown Conference player in 2021 and 2022 who was a team captain as a senior and earned the school's Heart of a Lion Award...finished his career at NDCL with 96 total tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, five fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles and two touchdowns...graduated from NDCL with honors, and was a volunteer with the Cleveland Food Bank and Vacation Bible School at his local church...younger brother of Chargers' two-year starting defensive back Josh Peroni, who graduated in 2023...parents are Victor and Gwenn Peroni.
