2019: Started all 11 games for the Chargers and was the team’s top receiving threat at the tight end position, catching 16 passes for 223 yards...had six multi-reception games, led by a three-catch, 41 yard effort against Concord (Oct. 5)...earned honorable mention All-G-MAC honors as a tight end.

2018: Projected as one of the G-MAC’s top tight ends entering the 2019 season…Had 14 catches for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns on the season…Set a season-high with 64 receiving yards in the game at Indianapolis Nov. 10…Had touchdown receptions versus Michigan Tech Sept. 8 and Findlay Oct. 6…Caught a season-high three passes on three different occasions…Named the team’s offensive player of the week on Nov. 12… Named one of the team’s One Play Warriors.

2016: Redshirted as a true freshman…Named the team’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week on Oct. 3.

High School: A Hillsdale High School Hornet who had a distinguished career in both football and basketball…He earned All-Conference honors as the quarterback in 2013, 14, and 15, rushing for 1628 yards and passing for 2834 yards and 32 touchdowns in his career…He is 4^th on the All-Time single season passing yards records list at Hillsdale High School…In his basketball career, he earned All-State honors in his senior season and scored 1000 points…He graduated in the top 10 of his class, was the Senior of the Year, and earned Academic All-State honors for basketball…In the community he worked with the Exchange Club, earning the Student of the Year distinction in 2016, and works at the local radio station, WCSR…Parents are Aaron and Kathy Petersen.
