2016: Saw action in six games as a true freshman, and is one of the team’s top prospects at the linebacker position…Made 11 total tackles, and had a season-high of four solo stops against Findlay Oct. 15…Broke up two passes in that game as well.
High School: A four-year varsity starting linebacker and offensive lineman for Muskegon Catholic Central who helped his team to State Championships in 2013, 14, and 15…In his senior season as a team captain, he earned first team All-State, All-Area, All-Conference, and Team MVP honors. He compiled 99 tackles and 7 interceptions…In his junior season, he earned All-State honors as both an offensive lineman and a linebacker…He also played basketball for Muskegon, aiding his team in three district championships as a team captain…He also led the baseball team to a State Championship in 2015…He graduated from Muskegon Central Catholic as the class valedictorian and was a member of the National Honor Society…In the community, he was a Maranatha lifeguard and security guard, volunteered with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Youth Sports Camps, and volunteered as a coordinator for the American Red Cross Blood Drive. He was also a volunteer summer school tutor and he earned the Rotary Life-Leadership Award…Born September 5, 1997…Younger brother to Hillsdale Swim and Football alumni, Alissa and Ben Jones…Parents are Bruce and Theresa Jones.
