High School: Helped lead small-school Michigan powerhouse Ottawa Lake Whiteford to three straight MHSAA D8 Semifinal appearances, including back-to-back finals berths in 2022 and 2023 and a state title in 2022…earned back-to-back first-team All-State honors as a defensive back, finishing his career with 377 total tackles and eight interceptions in four years, including 137 tackles as a senior…lettered in five sports at Whiteford, winning a state championship in the 4x400m relay in 2023 in track and field and earning four all-state honors, while also playing basketball, baseball and golf…strong student who was named a National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete and won the MHSAA Scholar Athlete Award as a senior…active volunteer with Goodfellows food bank, Night to Shine and Wreaths Across America…parents are K.C. and Buffy Ruddy…older brother Shea also plays receiver for Hillsdale College.
