Biography
2024-25: Started all 30 games for the Chargers and played a key role in the team's offensive success, averaging 10.3 points per game as the team's lead ball-handler...17 double-digit scoring performances, including tying his career high with 22 points on 11 of 13 shooting from the floor against Indiana University Northwest (Nov. 20)...also had an 18 point performance against UIndy on Dec. 21 and a 17 point performance at Findlay on Feb. 20...averaged 2.1 assists with 17 multi-assist games, including a career-high seven assists against Malone (Dec. 7) and six-assist outings against Saginaw Valley (Nov. 8) and in the G-MAC Tournament against Ashland (March 4)...finished the season with six straight double-digit scoring games...named to the CSC Academic All-District team for the second straight season and the NABC Honors Court for his achievements in the classroom.
2023-24: Ascended into the starting lineup for the Chargers and was part of the starting five for all 28 games at point guard...third on the team in scoring with 18 double-digit scoring performances, including a career-high 22 points on 5 of 6 shooting from the floor and 9 for 9 from the line in a Nov. 25 win over Grand Valley State...finished with double-digit points in 10 of Hillsdale's final 12 games of the season...finished with 14 points and a season-best four assists in Hillsdale's road contest at Findlay on Feb. 24...named to the 2024 CSC Academic All-District team for his work in the classroom in 2023-24.
2022-23:Â Played a significant role for the Chargers as a true freshman, appearing in 25 games as the backup point guard for Hillsdale and averaging over 10 minutes a game...posted his first double-digit scoring game on 4 for 4 shooting in a critical 76-70 home victory over Malone on Jan. 7...had a career-high five assists in Hillsdale's Feb. 2 home contest against Ashland...finished the season with six multi-assist games...will battle for a starting spot in 2023-24 as Hillsdale looks to replace all three starters on the perimeter.
High School: High-scoring combo guard who helped lead Pewaukee High School to back-to-back state titles in Wisconsin, the first repeat championship in WIAA D2 in 30 years...averaged 15.7 points per game and shot a state of Wisconsin-best 50.3% from 3-point range to help the Pirates repeat as WIAA Division II champions in 2022, scoring 19 points in Pewaukee's 67-48 title game victory over LaCrosse Central...also played a key role as a junior in Pewaukee's 2021 title run, scoring a team-high 19 points in the Pirates' 54-37 win over Onalaska in the championship game...named to back-to-back wissports.net All-Tournament teams for his play in the state tournament in both 2020-21 and 2021-22, as well as earning All-Woodland West conference honors in both campaigns...three-time Woodland West Conference champion...played travel basketball with JH1 Elite...strong student earned his school's High Merit Award and was on the honor roll all four years of high school...active volunteer through his church, with Milwaukee-area food pantries and running youth camps and shooting clinics for Pewaukee youth...parents are Brian and Jennifer Janowski.
