Biography

2019-20: An All-G-MAC first team player in 2018-19, Larson had another excellent campaign in 2019-20, but one that was cut short by an injury with seven games left in the season...started 21 games, was third on the team in scoring (13.0 ppg), rebounds (5.0 rpg), assists (54) and steals (26)...was one of just two Chargers with over 100 shot attempts to shoot over 50 percent from the floor (51.7), and also shot 41.4 percent from 3-point range...had 15 double-figure games, including a career-high 29 points in the season opener against Southern Indiana (Nov. 8) that was the highest single-game performance by any Charger in 2019-20...also added a 14 point, 11 rebound double-double against Ferris St. (Nov. 20) and a 17 point, eight assist performance at Alderson Broaddus (Dec. 5)...named to the All-G-MAC second team for 2019-20, his second all-conference honor.

2018-19: One of the breakout stars of the 2018-19 season in the G-MAC, he became a starting forward and was named First-Team All-Conference after averaging 12.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, while shooting 52.4 percent from the field…Showed outstanding efficiency and consistency, scoring 10 or more points in 20 of 29 games through the season, pouring in a career-high 26 points against Findlay on Feb. 9…Named G-MAC Player of the Week on Jan. 21, coming off a weekend in which he averaged 17 points per game, with a high of 24 in Hillsdale’s first road win over Findlay in 17 years on Jan. 24…Pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds in a win over Lake Erie Dec. 13 and had 7 or more rebounds in a game eight times.

2017-18: Emerging versatile player who figures to compete for a starting spot in 2018-19…Played in all 31 games on the season, scoring 99 points with 29 rebounds and 20 assists…Hit a season-high of 7 points twice, in a win over Malone Dec. 7 and a win over Lake Erie Feb. 10…Had 4 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals in the G-MAC Tournament championship game versus Ohio Dominican March 3…Picked up a career-high 5 steals in his first home game, a win over Urbana Nov. 14.

2016-17: Redshirted as a true freshman…Will have four years of eligibility remaining starting in 2017-18.

High School: Team captain for each of his final three seasons at Sheboygan North High School...The FRCC Player of the Year in 2016 and is North High School's all-time leading scorer with 1,733 points...FRCC leader in points and assists in 2015-16...Led team to 24 wins and its first trip to states since 1993...WBCA First-Team All-State in 2016 and was honorable mention All-State in 2015...Twice named the MVP of the Raider Shootout...Played in the WBCA All-Star Game for the North Team...Averaged 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists per game as a senior...Played AAU basketball for the Wisconsin Playground Warriors and the Wisconsin Swing...Member of the National Honor Society, winner of the Academic Achievement Award five straight semesters...Academic Crystal Block Award for seven straight semesters...Volunteer for the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation...Taught at the First United Lutheran Church vacation Bible school for two years...Parents are Christopher and Sara.
