2023-24: Played in seven games for the Chargers as a true freshman, setting a season high in minutes played (four) and recording his first career rebound at Trevecca Nazarene on Jan. 11.

High School: Standout two-sport athlete at Grand Rapids Catholic Central, a Michigan prep powerhouse in both basketball and football...team captain and starting guard as a senior who led the Cougars basketball team to a 16-7 record and an OK Gold Conference title...as a junior in 2021-22, played on both GRCC's MHSAA D5 state championship football team and MHSAA D2 state runner-up basketball team...earned All-OK Gold honors as a senior starter in football while helping the Cougars return to the MHSAA D5 state semifinals...also played AAU basketball with MBA National...strong student who was named as a finalist for the MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award, while also earning recognition as an AP Scholar and membership in the National Honor Society...active volunteer through his church supporting local soup kitchens in Grand Rapids, as well as Christmas fundraisers for the needy...mother Colleen App (Curcio) was a four-year letterwinner and contributor to the Chargers women's basketball program from 1989-93.
