Biography

2020-21: Became one of the top players in the country at the NCAA DII level and Hillsdale's first consensus NCAA All-American in program history, earning recognition from both the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the Division II Conference Commissioners Assocation...also named the 2020-21 G-MAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year and the Male Athlete of the Year after leading the conference in scoring (20.5 ppg) and field goal percentage (65.1%) while finishing eighth in free-throw shooting percentage (77.7%) and 12th in rebounding (6.2 rpg)...finished in double-figures in all 24 games for the Chargers, with 14 games of 20 or more points and five double-doubles...had several big moments for the Chargers, scoring 30 points in a double-overtime road win over Cedarville (Feb. 2), a career-high 32 points in a two-point road win over Tiffin (Feb. 24) and 29 points on 83% shooting from the floor in Hillsdale's NCAA Tournament win over Mercyhurst (March 12)...named G-MAC Player of the Week five times, and earned the men's basketball team's first-ever USBWA National Player of the Week award on Feb. 10...his 65.1% field goal percentage was seventh-best in Division II, with nearly twice the attempts of the six ahead of him, and his 64.7% career field goal percentage is the best in Charger history by over three percentage points...Also an excellent student; was one of five players in the Midwest Region named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team, the first Charger men's basketball player to receive that honor since 2016.

2019-20: Exploded onto the Division II basketball scene in 2019-20 with one of the finest seasons a freshman has ever had in the history of Charger men’s basketball...led Hillsdale in scoring (16.1 ppg), rebounds (6.1 rpg), blocks (22) and field goal percentage (64.3 percent), helping the Chargers claim a share of their first G-MAC regular season crown, and also earning G-MAC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors, as well as two G-MAC Player of the Week honors...started all 28 games for the Chargers, finishing with double-figure scoring in 23 of them and seven games of 20 or more points...finished with three double-doubles on the season, including a 24 point, 10 rebound effort at Tiffin (Jan. 9), just a game after scoring a career high 28 points in a home win over Lake Erie (Jan. 4)...finished with a career-high 11 rebounds in critical wins over Walsh (Feb. 13) and at Findlay (Feb. 29) to secure the conference crown...was extremely efficient despite a high usage rate, shooting 42.9 percent from 3-point range and 74 percent from the free throw line to go with his 64.3 percent field goal percentage.

2018-19: Redshirted as a true freshman…Will have four years of eligibility remaining starting with the 2019-20 season.
