2022-23: Moved into the rotation for the Chargers in his second season with the program, appearing in 19 games...scored a career-high five points in seven minutes in a 79-65 win over Valdosta St. (Nov. 6), then matched that total in a Jan. 5 win over Tiffin...played a career-high 12 minutes in Hillsdale's 77-36 win at Trevecca Nazarene (Jan. 21)...recorded a career-best three rebounds and two assists in 11 minutes in a 87-69 home win over Northwood on Jan. 12...in line for a bigger role in 2023-24 as Hillsdale looks to replace graduated players on the wing.

2021-22: Redshirted in 2021-22...will have four seasons of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2022-23 season.

High School: Star player in the Chicagoland area at Deerfield and Lake Forest High school...four-year varsity starter led Deerfield to back-to-back IHSA Regional titles as a sophomore and junior, making the Mundelein Thanksgiving All-Tournament team both years and earning All-Chicago Mid-Suburban League and Lake County News-Sun All-Area honors as a junior...in his senior year at Lake Forest, reached the 1,000 point mark for his career and earned North-Suburban All-Conference honors, averaging 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks...played AAU basketball for Team Illinois Wolves and the Cincinnati Royals...made the honor roll each of his last three years of high school, and volunteers at local basketball camps for younger players...parents are David and Paige Mattingly.
