Biography

2023: Had a breakout campaign for the Chargers, overcoming an early-season injury to start in eight contests and earn All-G-MAC recognition on the conference second team as a guard…teamed on the interior line with brothers Benjamin and Nick Affholter as one of the top trios in the G-MAC, helping the Chargers finish with the second-most rushing yards in the G-MAC while paving the way for a record-setting season by senior tailback Michael Herzog…earned the team’s Offensive Player of the Week honors against Tiffin on Oct. 7, and won Hillsdale’s Every Player, Every Play award for the contest against Walsh on Nov. 4…a key piece on a veteran line for Hillsdale in 2024.

2022: Starting left guard who overcame injuries to play a big role for the Chargers in the 2022 season, starting in 10 of 11 games and consistently performing for Hillsdale up front...entering his second year as a starter in 2023 and will be one of the key player for a Chargers team looking to build its identity around physicality in the upcoming season.

2021: Saw action as a reserve lineman in three games, playing a role in victories over Findlay (34-29, Oct. 23) and Kentucky Wesleyan (31-12, Nov. 6)...will compete to fill one of the two vacant starting spots on the Charger offensive line in the fall of 2022.

2020-21: Saw action in the Chargers' spring 2021 season finale at Ohio Dominican (April 24) as an injury substitute, helping the team to a victory on the road.

High School: Three-year two-way starter and standout in the trenches for Holt High School in Michigan...Helped the Rams earn a share of the CAAC-Blue title for the first time since 2011 and end a five year MHSAA playoff drought with strong play as a team captain and senior in 2019...earned first-team All-CAAC-Blue honors as a senior and was also a nominee for the MHSFCA East vs West All-Star game...dual sport athlete who was all-conference in both shot put and discus during the track and field season for the Rams...Earned Academic All-Conference honors all three years as a varsity athlete and was a member of the National Honor Society...was active in community service throughout high school, including with Holt's Math Buddies program that works with elementary school children...parents are George and Leslie Haidamous.
